November 11, 1995 - DHP participated in Comic Relief VII, hosted by Billy Crystal, Whoopi Goldberg and Robin Williams, to help raise funds to help America's homeless. The all-star comedy show was shown on HBO as it was presented live at the Universal Amphitheatre. Some of the performers at this event included Drew Carey, Margaret Cho, Anthony Edwards, Fran Drescher, Robert Klein, David Letterman, Richard Lewis, Heather Locklear, Dennis Miller, Paula Poundstone, Queen Latifah, Paul Rodriquez and Shelly Long.
November 10, 1995 - David Hyde Pierce hosted and Vic Damone and the Young Musicians Orchestra starred in the Young Musicians Foundation's 41st anniversary benefit performance at 6:30 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
November 1995 - DHP was a celebrity chairperson for Caring for Babies with AIDS Stroll-a-thon. He took his dog, Emma whom he once described as a cross between a sheep and a loaf of bread, as his baby :) To see photos, click here.
October 12, 1995 - made a guest appearance on the show Caroline in the City along with Jane Leeves, playing Niles and Daphne, respectively, in the episode 4 of season 1, entitled Caroline and the Bad Back. Niles and Daphne read Caroline's comic strip in the newspaper.

March 9-12, 1995 - DHP participated in an all-star benefit-staged readings of Larry Kramer's landmark AIDS drama "The Normal Heart" for its 10th anniversary at the Coast Playhouse in West Hollywood. Others who participated included Tom Hulce, David Marshall Grant, and Cotter Smith. Proceeds from this La Jolla Playhouse/Coast Playhouse co-production benefited the Salk Institute for AIDS Research in San Diego. To read a review of the play, click here.
